All I Want...
My eyes are bleary.
my head is weary.
I just got out of bed.
And all I want,
Oh all I want
Is to lay back down my head.
But duty calls,
and calls are due;
I really cannot stay.
This weariness,
This bleariness,
It will not go away.
And all my moans,
and all my groans,
Cannot discharge what's due.
My aching knees
and mild sneeze
are a far cry from the flu.
And so to work
I go again,
To work, I go again-
To meet
the people I shall greet:
encounter foe and friend.
My eyes are bleary,
My head is weary;
Towards home I am now sped.
And all I want,
Oh all I want
Is to lay down my head.
I Love You, He said
"I love you." He said to Mary,
As she was kneeling down in prayer.
"I love you" He said to Anne
and his cousin when Mary entered there.
"I love you" He said to Joseph
at His Nativity.
"I love you" He said to the family's
friends in Cana's festivities.
"I love you." He said to all the Jews,
the three days he was gone.
"I love you." He said to those non-Jews
who greeted him with song.
"I love you." He said to the descendants of
Noah's bloodline, spread.
"I love you." He said to the ancestors,
the oft-forgotten dead.
"I love you." He said to the rulers,
the soldiers in their arms.
"I love you." He said to the little child
Pinnocchio
Who me? I am Pinnocchio, a puppet made of wood,
But I can be a real boy, if only I be good.
Geppetto and the Lady, fair, have made me free of strings,
But they want me to go to school and learn of boring things.
The cricket is a boring chap, he scolds me through the roof!
I do not want to stay at home, I've really had enough!
My father sold his coat for me to know my ABC's,
I guess that I will go to school; I caused his shiver-sneeze.
On my way to school today, I heard a jumpy song,
Followed it to a place where puppets act the whole day long.
The master wasn't very nice, he nearly had me burnt!
Only then did I know my wrongs; what
The Truth
It doesn't need a voice for you to hear it.
It doesn't need a face for you to see it.
It doesn't have a time limit for you to come to know it.
It is ageless.
It is the foundation.
It is what came before anything else, the basis upon which reality was born: the program upon which everything came into existence.
It is the beginning and the end, and also everything in between.
It is what happened in the past, and what will happen in the future.
It is the action and the reaction.
The sciences are its children.
The metaphysics; its art.
It is all things bright and beautiful, all things soft and wonderful.
It is all things dark and ug

Shadows and misty places,
Strange dreams and stranger faces:
I do not know where I am.
I cannot see around me,
The waves threaten to drown me:
I'm on land, and yet I'm at sea.
Chorus: And I feel that I've lost myself
In time, in stranger dreams.
And I feel I don't really know who I am.
I am not what I seem to me.
I am not who I want to be.
And yet, I can't deny: this is me.
Dark moods, dark green jealousy,
poison of heart, treachery:
These things I used to not know.
False hopes and stark betrayals,
See how my life derails!
This dark within me still grows.
Chorus: And I feel that I've lost myself
In time, in stranger dreams.
And I feel I don't really know who I am.
I am not what I seem to me.
I am not who I want to be.
And yet, I can't deny: this is me.
Even the sunshine seems so dark and unforgiving.
The blue sky is just painted clouds.
The gleaming gold will rust and turn to dust.
What's the use of being proud?
The mist fades away.
The cloud opens up.
The sun shines down
On my face looking up.
I can see where I am,
not with waves, but on land,
friends and family around.
Now I understand!
Chorus: And I feel that I've found myself
In time, in stranger dreams.
And I feel I finally know who I am.
I am not what I seemed to me.
I have found who I'm supposed to be.
Happily, I can't deny: this is me.
